(60 x 2) x 2 = 240

…that’s my new target. With OffBeatInk.com making $60 per month, I want to double it – hence the first “x2″ – then creating a second blog with the same earnings…thus bringing in $240 per month ($120 x 2 blogs).

My initial target was $150 per month but with hosting costs, the effort I put into my sites (and because I always want more!), I’ve increased this target to a new level.

I will continue to post 6 times per week (Mon – Sat) on OffBeatInk.com with unique content and videos. Each month I intend to spend some money on promotion and will trial new methods of advertising I haven’t used before. More on that later!

My latest project will focus on a heavily searched keyword – gadgets. I have a cool, brandable domain that is easy to remember. Me being me, I’m not revealing it just yet. I also have a professional but clean wordpress theme to work with too and I am really excited about launching my new site.

I would like my new project to be earning $60 after month two like OffBeatInk.com. By this time – February – I then intend to concentrate on increasing the income from both these streams rather than starting a third project. I don’t want to take on too much at one time as I generally spend around 45 mins per day on OffBeatInk.com.

As time progresses and OffBeatInk.com finds a position in SERP’s, natural traffic will increase the site’ s overall exposure and thus have a positive knock-on effect on my earnings. If my gadget project follows (fingers crossed!), perhaps $240 will follow in the footsteps of my $150 target and become redundant?

Good luck with your persuits,

Khalid.

Extreme Media Works…

Catching the attention of your visitors is one way they’ll share and discuss your site, not to mention keep coming back for more. It is important that you use plenty of quality images and videos, especially if you have extreme ones to share. People enjoy seeing others get hurt, end up in pain or embarrassed, and that’s exactly how Off Beat Ink has become so popular.

Since opening the site, I’ve covered Extreme DIY Tattoo Removal, Tongue Splitting, DIY Lip Piercing, Human Branding and Scarification. These have caught the attention of readers and become shared amongst their friends.

It is a simple tip that keeps visitors coming back for more. In a nutshell, catch their attention!

Good luck with your persuits,

Khalid.

November Earnings

November was a rather productive month for me, with Off Beat Ink receiving 60,000 unique visitors despite being only two months old! That was an increase of 40,000 visitors from the past month which I was extremely happy about. The site took in, on average, $2 per day. Although this isn’t a large amount, it is a start.

Kortaz was less productive, only taking in $16 for the month. That was due to the fact I had such a large downtime with Host Nine. However, with the site now hitting 8,000 uniques per day and PR4, I am surprised nobody is requesting to advertise despite me offering links on this thread at Digital Point Forums??? Any ideas?

Finally, Khalid’s Life is back online but not earnings really. As I’ve said before, I never had any plans to monetize this blog however I have placed a Media Links Box on the right hand side below the Blog Rush widget.

I am now at a crossroads, where I wonder whether to continue with Off Beat Ink until the earnings double or triple or move on to another project? I am currently posting 5 times per week on the site and would continue to do so but do I concentrate my efforts monetizing another site? What do you think?

Good luck with your persuits,

Khalid.
